Castors: an accessory that is taken for granted and which goes largely unnoticed. Yet for any item that is not wall-hung, castors represent the only point of contact with ground: whether it is a cabinet, chest of drawers, chair, coat hanger, desk, trolley or IV holder, without castors, none of these would be easy to move.
So, although taken for granted, they provide a fundamental role.
Ivars has specialized in the production of plastic castors of all sizes for the office furniture, home, hospital and commercial sectors. Our castors are available in an extensive range of sizes and can be customized and packaged to meet our client’s specific requirements.
All manufacturing is 100% Made in Italy and conducted exclusively in our Vestone plant, in the province of Brescia, northern Italy, where we produce nearly 100,000 castors a day, totalling around 26 million castors per year – an impressive number - in 35,40,45,50 and 65 mm diameters.
All our castors are used in a hugely diverse range of sectors since they can be adapted to an infinite number of assembly configurations and can be shipped with the pins separate or pre-assembled, as our clients desire.

Another invisible yet indispensable item of Ivars range is QAFI. This is a square insert with threaded metal through-hole suitable for assembling feet and castors: once assembled, it goes completely unnoticed, but provides an essential function, ensuring stability and durability to the finished product. Initially available with an M10 thread, the outstanding versatility of QAFI proved so popular on the market that we have recently added versions with M8 and M12 threads. This accessory assures first-rate product performance with any glide or castor available in Ivars range and is available in 4 different sizes to offer you maximum versatility: 50x50cm, 40x40cm, 30x30cm, and lastly 25x25cm intended even for the smallest components.
