IVARS: INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY AS KEY WORDS FOR THE NEW 2025 PROPOSALS
2025 promises to be a strategic year for Ivars, full of important trade fairs events. As per tradition, the company will be at Interzum Koln (20–23 May), a world leading event for subcontracting in the furniture and interior design industry. Furthermore, for the first time, Ivars will participate in the International Hardware Fair Italy in Bergamo, an exhibition dedicated to the hardware, DIY, building, safety, gardening and outdoor sectors.
Attending these exhibitions, Ivars reconfirms its vitality and constant attitude to grow, focusing on product development and range expansion according to the market requirements.
Concerning the hardware and building sector, the company will showcase its full range at the International Hardware Fair Italy: from helmets, globally recognized for their strength and protection, to plastering trowels, buckets and mortar boxes. A solid proposal, aimed at guaranteeing reliability and quality in the construction sector.
While at Interzum, Ivars will exhibit all the news for the furniture: from the complete series to the single components, solutions designed, developed and manufactured with the latest advanced technologies, in tune with the actual trends in terms of aesthetic and ergonomics.
Ivars is carefully observing the developments in the sector, where social sensitivity, design, fashion and aesthetic taste influence the choices of the end user. Today more than ever, the demand is oriented to a compromise between aesthetic and functionality: comfort, versatility and sustainability are the new objectives to be reached by using recycled materials, trendy colors and innovative textures.
In this perspective, modularity in furniture and seating plays a key role. Ivars proposes solutions developed thanks to a great work of research&development aimed at finding the best balance between design, performance and environmental consciousness.
Among the news, we firstly find Gamma, a new backrest designed to be versatile and adaptable. The name reminds of its particular shape, inspired by the Greek letter, and it develops around its plastic up&down backbar (Ivars patented) featuring an 8 cm height adjustment stroke. The lumbar support, depth adjustable in 4 positions, can also be upholstered thanks to an optional panel. Gamma is a high level model within the Operative range and it is suitable with all Ivars seats and armrests.
Next is Essence, conceived to offer a comfortable, versatile and multitasking solution. It is characterized by an inner frame that covers the backrest, emphasizing the distinctive design of the model. It is proposed in two versions: with an up-down plastic lumbar support or with a patented depth adjustable lumbar support for the maximum comfort.
Completing the range, we have Volver, a new wrapping and comfortable shell, designed to be adapted to different uses and frames. It is available in the 4-legs version (plastic or metal), cantilever, on a swivel base or bench. It perfectly furnishes Contract and Home Office spaces.
Volver represents a fresh idea, dynamic and contemporary, in line with the market trends.
Completing the 2025 range we have Liberty, a versatile and multitasking model with an essential and modern design. It is intended for various applications and contexts of use: from Office to Community, Waiting Areas and Health sector. The backrest is available in different versions: plastic at sight (full plastic or shaped and perforated), mesh or upholstery; while the plastic at sight seat can also be upholstered. The full plastic backrest is easy to be cleaned and sanitized, offering a good and practical solution for the hospital waiting rooms.
Liberty can be assembled on a metal 4 legs frame, cantilever, swivel base, bench and barstool, providing a complete and versatile range of solutions.
Lastly, a prototype will be showcased at Interzum: Brighton. It is an original model developed in collaboration with the English designer Craig Jones. Brighton is a shell characterized by a wavy pattern on the back part and an essential style, designed to provide identity and simplicity. This shell is ideal for meeting rooms and waiting areas, and it is available in different configurations: metal frame, swivel version, bench or barstool.
This rich and varied range of new proposals confirms once again Ivars’ design skills as well as the stylistic and technological research in its daily work.
The line proposed at Interzum 2025 is particularly innovative and well-structured: it demonstrates the constant commitment of the company’s R&D and production team in providing excellent products, inspired by quality, aesthetics and sustainability. Ivars, in fact, bases its production on a modern concept of circular economy, reusing 100% of its production waste to offer beautiful, functional and also environmentally friendly solutions.
