Luca Merli in 01:23:09 and Sara Bottarelli in 1:39:29 are the winners of the XVI edition of Ivars Tre Campanili half marathon, held on Sunday 2nd July. The two Italian runners carried the national colors high in front of Kenyan, Moroccan, Ethiopian and Rwandan athletes.
The half marathon, organized by A.S.D. Libertas Vallesabbia with the patronage of the Municipality of Vestone and the patronage of the Lombardy Region, started at 9.30 from Piazza Garibaldi with 620 competitive runners who competed on a mixed course of 21.097 km, with a vertical drop of over 900 meters and characterized by demanding climbs and descents and relevant technical passages.

In the women's category, after Sara Bottarelli from Brescia, we find Tadesse Betselot Andualem, Imanizabayo Emeline, Giomi Sarah and Baresi Chiara.
As always, the race was framed by a fascinating naturalistic context between mountains and small villages and an atmosphere of great celebration, with music and entertainment along the route and a crowd of fans waiting for the runners upon arrival.
